This release of this outdated news heightens the rift between the Army and the Government. I hope it is not what I think it is … a bit of izzat taken a bit too far, even if in jest! It does not augur well for the image of democracy that we have upheld so far. While a secret wish for some ‘action’ to put the politicians into a realisation of what can happen. Even if unintentional, such reportage can just ruin it for democracy, or what we have it.
The story has many unanswered questions and once again there is more that meets the eye … a bit foggy!
